Welcome to St. Thomas Aquinas Family Formation! Mark your calendars for our first Family Formation gathering on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at the Lower School at 6255 E. Mockingbird Ln, Dallas, TX
AS OF APRIL 23, 2025, all classes EXCEPT TIPS and Special Needs are FULL for the 9:15 SESSION. You must choose the 11:15 session unless you are in TIPS or Special Needs. We are no longer taking any new PreK students at this time. If your child is planning on celebrating the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, he/she needs to at least be entering 2nd grade or 3rd grade and be involved in Faith Formation for two consecutive years (Sac Prep 1 and Sac Prep 2 classes). If your child is in the 3rd grade (or up), and this is the first year of faith formation, or it has been more than a year since active in a faith formation program, AND child needs to prepare for Sacraments, he/she will be in a class called "TIPS" (Together In Preparation for Sacraments, which is an RCIA class adapted for children) and meets every week, along with at least one parent and the student in attendance. For TIPS, please choose the 9:15 session (below).

List up to two friend requests. For those registering early, we will work to accomodate your child's classroom friend request. If you register after May or if a class/session fills up, this cannot be guaranteed. We always try to place children from the same school in the same class, providing the session they are attending, and whether or not that class is full.

Audio/Visual Recording and Photography Consent
For good and valuable consideration, I hereby grant to St Thomas Aquinas (“Parish”) the irrevocable and unrestricted right to make, use and/or publish any and all photographs, videos, and other images of me/my minor child (“Child”), or images in which Child may be included, now existing or hereafter made, in any case, with or without identifying Child for editorial, advertising, news, or any other purpose and in any manner and medium; to alter the same without restriction; and to copyright the same. On behalf of myself and/or my child, I specifically waive all rights to privacy and confidentiality with respect to name, likeness, voice, photographs, images, video recordings, audio recordings and identifying information.
I hereby release and agree to fully and unconditionally protect, indemnify, and defend Parish, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Dallas, and their respective officers, agents, and employees, (collectively, “Indemnitees”) and hold each Indemnitee harmless from and against any and all costs, expenses, attorney’s fees, claims damages, demands, suits, judgments, losses, or liability for injuries to property, injuries to persons (including Child) and from any other costs, expenses, attorney fees, claims, suits judgments, losses, or liabilities of any and every nature whatsoever arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, out of, in connection with, in the course of, or incidental to the use or publication of any photographs, videos, or other images of Child, REGARDLESS OF CAUSE OR OF THE JOINT, COMPARATIVE, OR CONCURRENT NEGLIGENCE OF THE INDEMNITEES.
Financial Support/Registration
Financial support collected solely supports the ministry and our youth. Your financial support offsets the curriculum and other materials and resources used throughout the year. The parish subsidizes over half of the cost for each child from weekly parishioner contributions, but without your support to the ministry we would not be able to offer the quality of ministry that we do.
For all children in Sac Prep 2 and TIPS preparing to celebrate the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion this year, an additional form will be emailed in January 2026 that will include additional sacramental registration information and a Sacramental Prep fee of $40 to cover the cost of the additional resources.
